I close my eyes
the waves roll toward me
clear water
sparking
bubbles and foam

my body surges toward
the surging waves
cool
invigorating

complaints wash away
don’t care any more
waves pound me
tickling me

worries gone
free and healthy
salt water gushes through
sinuses clear

alone and happy
in the waves
peace and solace
