There are many traffic lights out so be very careful, the news reports say. No one bothers giving clear instructions based on something realistic, like, say, the rules of the road, when navigating intersections where the lights are out.
Why on Earth not? Could it be that no one in Australia has the moral fortitude to state the rules? Or perhaps no one in Australia has the gumption to check the road rules?
Useless bunch of fuckwits.
Through traffic has right of way.
Side roads must give way.
Give way to the right.
Flash lights to concede right of way.
Have good manners; be polite.
ALWAYS USE YOUR INDICATORS! This applies to the police, emergency services, and hoodlums, too.
As Australians slip ever deeper into the victim-perpetrator-rescuer pathology, aversion to standing up or sticking out will result in greater absences of pertinent information.
…or we could reject this immature parent-child dichotomy and teach ourselves how to be our own parents. That is, become adults.
